Director and Head Coach
Grace Lasslett
Meet Grace, our accomplished head coach. In her gymnastics career Grace achieved the all-around Gold at the 2016 Rhythmic Victorian Championships and successfully became the Runner-up in the ball category at the 2016 Australian Gymnastics Championships.
Outside Australia, Grace reached podiums in competitions across Japan, Malaysia, Italy, and France. She has also trained at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. Grace and her team have also successfully trained and competed in Aesthetic Group Gymnastics bringing home multiple Gold medals in All-Around from Malaysia and Japan. From star athlete to influential coach, Grace inspires with her commitment to excellence in rhythmic and aesthetic group gymnastics.

Coach
Maria Chernyshova
Maria trained as a rhythmic gymnast in Russia and competed both individually and in groups at the Russian National Championships and international competitions and festivals. By the age of 16, she achieved the title of Master of Sport in Rhythmic Gymnastics.

In 2021, Maria began coaching rhythmic gymnastics and working as a dance instructor for children aged 4 to 16 in Australia. In guiding her students, Maria employs a student-centered approach, recognising each child's unique strengths and nurturing their potential. Committed to cultivating an inclusive and supportive environment, Maria ensures that young talents not only master their skills but also gain confidence in expressing themselves through the artistry of rhythmic and aesthetic gymnastics.

Yesenia Khmelnitsky
During her time as a rhythmic gymnast, Yesenia had the incredible honour of training alongside the Olympic team of 2024. Over the span of 12 years dedicated to the sport, Yesenia has proudly represented as a senior international gymnast, showcasing her skills at numerous competitions across the globe. Highlighting her competitive journey, Yesenia is privileged to have earned the title of Victorian State Champion consecutively from 2014 to 2023, a testament to years of hard work, dedication, and passion for rhythmic gymnastics.

Coach
Prune Bokobza
Prune began rhythmic gymnastics at 8 in France, competing in national FFG competitions for nearly 10 years in group routines. She started coaching in 2008, earned her first judge diploma in 2010, and completed a 2 years coaching training in 2011. In 2018, Prune moved to Japan and coached at Southern Doll Rhythmic Gymnastics in Fukuoka while beeing part of local dance company of "yosakoi" competing accross Japan. In 2022, she relocated to Australia for work and started coaching at Grace Gymnastics last year. She is passionate about fostering a love for the RG and helping athletes express themselves artistically. Her favourite apparatus is Clubs.

Ballet Teacher
Jessica Poberezovska
Jessica graduated Level Six at the Australian Ballet School, earning a Diploma in Dance.
Before pursuing full-time ballet, she was an elite rhythmic gymnast and aesthetic group gymnastics athlete. Jessica competed at the Australian Gymnastics Championships and international competitions, achieving success and earning medals at these events. With her extensive background in both ballet and gymnastics, she brings a unique approach to coaching, seamlessly connecting ballet technique to rhythmic gymnastics skills.
